Dear Sir: I know you are one heck of a busy man, but I hope you can take a couple of minutes on this. My wife and I have been married 42 years, We are both on disablilty, Both on medicare, I just got her out of the hospital a few days ago for her second heart surgery. She is ok but that is not the problem,this is, All of the test doctors before surgery is what took all the money I had for co-pays and now it is the same with after surgery expenses. It never ends but what I am asking if there is any way to get any financial help in this state. I applied for loans, church help, DFACS, free money onthe web, thats a JOKE,loan sharks, I dont know who else , i LIVE  AT 553 Sunnyside Ct. BoxSprings, Georgia 31801,David Dickson. I have gone on the web only to find Marion County is the worst county in the state for funds, for anything.Unfortunatly at present I am behind on my rent, phone, power bill, everything, no food, We get food stamps, $16 a month, there was supposed to be an increase of $44 in 2009,but I guess that never made it to Marion County.With all this in mind, I do have another question, away from my problems, Why do we go to war, spend billions,this I agree with but I do not under stand why our country goes back there and spends billions again to reguild what we just blew up. I am 63 years old and have never seen any country come over here to help with anything they have blown up. Put that money into yours and my forefathers well being,they made this ,so it looks like when you get old, retire,  get on disability, after working your BUTT off for years and years you are just put out to pasture to die, but that cost too much. If there is any sugesstions please reply. Thank you.

Post Open Letter to your Elected Representatives

BF walked out  in March I was staying afloat financially but with the start of school (2 children) I feel like I am buried. I just can't seem to get even. With 2 children, live in the sticks a part-time job does not seem feasable. I work full time for the state so there is no possible overtime. I just need a little boost, $800 would be wonderful!

  We are asking for Help in a simple matter.  We have been working for a company for the last 3 years.  During the last year of employment with this company, the owner offered to sell the business to us.  He allowed us full management and expansion freedoms.  As we worked on our business plan and worked long and hard to purchase.  Profits in the business went up and as we came close to the closing of the business.  He laid us off.  Now we are stuck unemployed and no way to close on the business that we built back to its high profits.  There is a blessing in every situation.  We can purchase this business for our family, but we are short on down payment capital.  If there is anyone out there that could help, or maybe knows of a place that helps with hard working families that are trying to get ahead. Any grants or financial funds.  We have tried the SBA and was told NO.  We have tried banks for loans.  But due to the down market, no banks are lending money.  If there are any people out there that could help out with a dollar, five dollars.  Anything.. all donations would be greatly appreciated.  To help us to better our childrens lives would be highly appreciated.

I had a good paying job and was laid off in April of this year, was homeless for 3 months.

I am collecting unemployment which is about to expire this month(Nov), my rent is due by 3rd of Nov: and I do not have all funds to pay my rent for Nov: I am not looking for a hand out, I would like to repay what funds that is given to me(throught an installment plan). I need $600.00 for my rent...again I will repay funds with an installment plan in place.

Hello and Happy Sunday!!!

Ah, I know that many of us wonder how we ahve found ourself in certain situations.  I myself, am blessed to have secured a great position - as the economy, underneath starts to revivve and will even more so as time moves on- in an area of helping secure positions for others....yet here is my dilemma, having come through a wild storm of divorce after a 20 year marriage and now on September 1st, my home goes on the court house steps.....I know how blessed I am to be on my way to helping others  - here is my dilemma...I have found an apartment 10 miles from my new position, a great opportunity for me to rent from a single parent and help her and her daughter out at the same time of keeping on track with filling open positions for others....and she has been so kind as to only ask for the first months rent down and a couple of letters of reference.  If I pay the rent, I won't have any gas money to get to work  or eat- what a conundrum this one is.....I know there are many people, wondering how they are goin to feed their kids and more....so it is with heavy but a happy heart that I ask for direction on finding the funds in the next couple of days to put down on the apartment and keep this young lady on track with her obligations as well.

There currently has been no funding deposited, so right now, i am unable to help out with the bills and cash that is needed.

I am currently working toward housing for the people that are in need of it, but i need cash funding in order to do that. These people will actually own their own homes, and not just renting them.

hi my name is wayne davis and i am disabled from a working accident in 2002 and I'm about to go under with all my bills.  

   I live in upstate NY in Jefferson county outside of Watertown and Sackets Harbor area. the local HUD AND HUMAN RESORCES are helpful from time to time but i need more than they supply

  I got hurt in 2002 had surgery in 2003 and was hoping to go back to work after some rehab... that day isn't going to come... so i filed for disability after i used every dime we had to live on... i had pride more than brains i guess.. so here i am with credit cards maxed out and bills collecting after a tough fight to keep everything running smooth and not getting behind... we are surely on the loosing end and its only a matter of weeks before i see a payment not getting payed and starting to let payments slide because there are no funds...

    Between my girlfriend and i we were making around $33k a year for 1 year then i got hurt now we make about 1/3 that each year.. she is trying to keep working and having a hard time doing so with her having madical problems also.

    my house is in need of some major foundation work and i have no way to get it done... i have a few friends and family that i can call on for help but they can only do so much.  i need siding and a roof and some insulation work as well... but the main thing is the foundation..  we have pieced things together the best we can..and it has held thus far ..

  What i was hoping to get out of this site was someone that could point me in the right direction to find some grants or organizations that can help a disabled person in this situation.
